WHO'S A BULLDAWG???

Yes, it's a great day to be a Bulldog and a long time comin'. Dan Mullen, UF OC & QB coach, was hired as State's new HC. I'm on cloud 9 for now.

Okay, so we finally got the Hill birthday festivities posted. The first pic is a not-so-happy Rowdy Rowdy wanting some cake. Then there's the beautiful Hill famille. Mom is slightly amused by a card. Pops show us what a Vol grad looks like. Then Rowdy gets a smile put on his pepper after stuffing himself with cake.

Well, we finally went on our first solo vacation of our marriage. Headed down to Destin, without the girls, and had a jim-dandy of a time. The pic of us was taken on the balcony before din-din and the other was from our balcony of the sunrise on our last day. The weather was fair the latter part of the week. It was so nice. So nice...

Yes, we still exist. Nothing has been going on here at Chez Reeves. The man has been praying for rain and putting out grass seed. He's also offering his first-born for a State win. It's a sad time.
The woman has been putting out flowers around the house in the annual Fall Beautification campaign. She's also offering the second-born for a Vol win.
A big weekend is ahead as the birthday bash is being held at Chez Reeves (formerly Casa de la Mando).
I promise pictures of the Hill famille fiesta. Now I must get back to my internet activities. Lots of pepper blogging to do!

Mandy's 30th!

We finally got some pics from the big day. And what a day it was. Randy got a few extra grays from working on this. But thank God for all the good friends and family! Thanks to all who were able to make it.

TOE!

This is what Randy AND MANDY are having to deal with now. Randy broke the middle toe Tuesday morning and as you can (or maybe you can't) tell, it's pretty purple and around the base of the foot it is swollen like a mug.
The biggest problem this causes is the marathon training, so if you don't mind, give the Randster a shout out when praying for him to get healed up right nicely.

While you're at it...

You should check out this wonderful band.

If you're in Nashville...

come out with us on Aug11 to see Joe Purdy at 3rd & Lindsley. It will be fun!

Back from MS

Well, we made it down and back safely and had a grand ole time. I believe we're going to be fasting this week due to the large amounts of food we shoveled down our throats. But it was so good when it hit the lips. To the left is a pic of my favorite sign on the trip. It's in Meridian and belonged to an old restaurant/truck stop. I remember many trips passing that sign. Especially since I lived there at one time!

My new motto

Thursday, July 24, 2008

Only an American...

would have the nerve to go to Germany to give a speech while running for presidency and working as a senator all the while speaking English to a mostly German crowd. Especially amazing coming from someone ranting at how Americans go to Europe with ability to only say "merci beaucoup".

First post

Yes, this is the first post of many to come. I am now going to log in the goings and comings of the Reeves family of Nashville, TN. Y'all should be giddy with excitement!
