The Great Nashville Flood of 2010

We survived the great flood of Nashville here at Chez Reeves.
The property is pretty much unscathed except for some washed away mulch. That's no biggie though. Mandy will have that replaced in no time.

Turks & Caicos 2010

We are now back from our Turks & Caicos trip. What a blast. We can't even described how nice it was. All inclusive food and drink does not bode well for our physical fitness. The resort was fantastic, the people were great, and the beauty of the island was unlike anything we've ever experienced or expected. It was definitely a trip we wish could have lasted a few days longer. Coming back to the real world was NOT something we were ready to do.

CA trip

We won't bore y'all with the 200+ pics we took, but we'd like to share some of them. We had a blast, the weather was pretty good (just on the chilly side of pleasant), but there just wasn't enough time to fully enjoy it all.
We had some great subjects for our photos and a great camera to take said photos, but Mandy did her best to take bad pics. I gave her some impromptu lessons.

I ran in the hottest race of my "career" this past weekend. Mandy bailed after being in Vegas all week. Weak!
I still finish under 2 hrs and actually made my 2nd best PR despite the heat.

The Adventures of Bladder Stones

Those of you NOT in the "know": Ellie Mae was found to be in possession of bladder stones. It was very...painful for ALL of us. It finally reached the point that we could no longer be patient for them to dissolve so surgery was initiated. A couple of stones were blocking her urethra completely.
One pick shows the stones and one boulder taken out. The other shows her and her new fashion accessory. Notice that she's now a gangsta and packing a la the pushed up sleeve on one leg.

Coach Mullen comes to Music City

Coach Mullen came to Music City and we had a much larger crowd than I ever expected. Definitely more people than Beef O'Brady's could hold! Mandy walked away saying she was even a new fan of Dan the Man. Not State, just our coach. He is so energetic, pumped, and passionate. Remember, this is the guy who helped develop Tebow! :)

We personally got to meet with him and I believe he's going to buy a Xerox. J/K. We also got to meet AD Greg Byrne. He's the mastermind behind hiring DMullen and also baseball Coach Cohen. The Chinese have changed their calendar. 2009 is the "Year of the Bulldog", baby!

The cross is a little difficult to see in the pic when it's this large, but in the viewfind on the camera it stood out like a sore thumb. We enjoyed it.

We got to finall go to Charleston. It was great. We've decided that it will be our next home. We might be able to afford a cardboard box down an alley. You'll all be welcome of course though.

It's a little late for a Christmas post, but I'm running behind lately. We went to good ole Missip and had a wonderful time visiting and stuffing our faces.
We went to have Wii and wine at the Kellows for New Years. Fun stuff. And we still got sore. AGH!

WHO'S A BULLDAWG???

Yes, it's a great day to be a Bulldog and a long time comin'. Dan Mullen, UF OC & QB coach, was hired as State's new HC. I'm on cloud 9 for now.

Okay, so we finally got the Hill birthday festivities posted. The first pic is a not-so-happy Rowdy Rowdy wanting some cake. Then there's the beautiful Hill famille. Mom is slightly amused by a card. Pops show us what a Vol grad looks like. Then Rowdy gets a smile put on his pepper after stuffing himself with cake.
